leslie They are close. I think its the water. I did find a place that sells pork roll. Everyone alwsys ask "what is that amd how do u cook it?" I just laugh and think they have no idea what they are missing

Rossi @leslie317 that happened when I moved to Florida in the 80's. I walked into a shop and asked for a Bialy & a coffee regular and they stared at me like I had a third eye!! Lol one women asked why I always took the 3rd or 4th newspaper from the pile. I was equally perplexed. I thought EVERYONE did that. I said "no one takes the one off the top" duh!! Lol -
leslie In texas, they take ur grocerys to ur car. Well, the first time I went to the grocery store here, a very nice young man came and started walking with my cart full od stuff. Well. Being from the land of "bag ur own stuff", I thought he was trying to rip off my food. I open feild tacklled him, taking him down to the floor, yelling for the cops. Dear lord, never so embarrassed in my life. He was very sweet. Thought "dam crazy yankee"

Vecchio-Bello @tracey_ninivaggi Yeah I excluded the arena from that. I miss it too. I just mean the basic dump the wide swath of land around it. But I haven't been there in years so i don't know what building has been done lately.

Tracey N. @vecchio_bello They started that Zanadu crap years ago just before the Devils moved to newark....You can't even see the arena from the highway anymore! There is a BIG UGLY half finished building all around it that is supposed to be some kind of mega-mall/conference center/hotel/entertaiment complex! All the parking around the arena from the front all around the turpike side is gone...It's a big mess! The only things going on are occasional concerts & Football games at the NEW Stadium across the way! On the OTHER side of Route 3 they started bulldozing some of the wetland area to build a golfcourse...but that has stopped also!
