I live in musical purgatory. A bunch of bands are going to be in Dallas and I can't afford the three hour drive for shows right right now!! Grumbles...
              • TheJennTaFur
TheJennTaFur I wonder if any of these bands would live stream some of their shows! Gas is expensive. I feel you. I took the bus from DC to NY instead of paying $140 for a one way ticket on the train. The bus was only $17! I think those who drive that route are crazy especially with all the gas that they have to pay for and then to probably pay for parking if they don't get a space on the street. Sorry for my diatribe!!

Shae Smart and Spooky Live streaming would be excellent, I agree. I love the feeling of a live show, though. I think it is the sense of community - all these people are in the same place at the same time for the same reason - combined with the energy of the band. Nothing quite like it. And no worries on the diatribe. I know gas is considerably worse on the coasts, so you have every reason to vent a little. :)

This is a good place to live for the most part, but if you are a major music fan you have to drive a minimum of three hours to see many shows. Grrr....

Mary A @shae_rowell Thanks for checking out the site. People call it 'eHarmony for musicians' haha. It's been fun. // And that is also the million dollar question - where to move to in OK! ;). My family that live there are spread out from Ok City, Norman and even a little further out (in country parts). It's been a big debate where to plant ourselves once we move, but the city isnt an option. We've grown tired of DC and its traffic, ready to have a place to really stretch our legs ;).
