Richard Craig Lyons I use my smartphone for nearly everything. It is my GPS (trip navigation and Geocaching) It is my mp3 player (music and podcast), Kindle and Audible book device(s). These last as adjuncts to rather than replacements for the printed book. I've been an avid reader for 59 of my 63 years and cannot afford myself buying books at the current prices. I haunt every used paperback shop I find. I'm never without at least one paperback immediately at hand. On my combat tours of duty I kept a paperback in my fatigues sidepocket. I love near everything about the printed page. One advantage of a Kindle at my age I can adjust font/typeface to ease the strain on my tired old eyes. I finally bought Larsson's The Girl who Kicked the Hornet's Nest for my Audible despairing of ever finding it in any print edition. In my home one can always tell which is my easychair for the multitude of paperbacks surrounding it. To add to my enjoyment I joined Bookcrossing. At my age I spend quite a bit of time in... -
