I can't understand how a group who does such good work- PP- can be so misrepresented. A member of congress said that over 90% of what PP does is abortion services. The actual figure is closer to 3%, and when that congressman was asked to clarify his lie, his press rep. Said that the numbers he used on his floor speech weren't meant to be taken as facts. I feel like I'm living in an insane place. PP provides services that save lives. They also help avoid unintended pregnancies, thus helping lower the number of abortions. Hopefully more facts about PP come to light.

When I was a college student, Planned Parenthood found a cyst in my breast and my first cervical cyst. The services they provide for women, especially the poor or uninsured are life saving.

Komen is now run by a life long right winger, so no wonder they cut off funding. If it walks like a duck and talks like a duck, it's probably a duck... or an Aflac commercial.

Need to make an apt and I tried to make one online but they never got back to me.. so now I'm on hold and instead of annoying music with some twaty white woman interupting every 2 seconds to tell me how important I am.. I have a pleasent sounding gay man come on every 3 - 5 mins to tell me he apperciates my call.. and between there is quiet and peace.. I think other companies need to make a note of this.. because unlike being on hold for tmobile and target I don't have the urge to brutally strangle the first person who answers my call.

I am an advocate for this and believe that EVERY city should have it in these days & times!
