My son is learning about Flanders Fields, the wearing of the poppies, and the whole meaning of the holiday. He understands quite a bit for a little guy.

My whole school fell silent today, the silence didn't have to be at all reinforced. They will not be forgotten.

I took a moment of silence today

We should remember and be thankful every day, but I'm glad we take the time to especially focus.

Remember the troops.

It's Remembrance Day today. Lest we forget all the soldiers… and also all the civilians who were lost in any war in any place at any time.

found it highly disrespectful that the person playing the trumpet was disgraceful and spoiled it!

I also tear up during the two minutes. Thinking about our freedom and the sacrifices that were done to make it so!

The name Rememberance Day came about after WWII when it was changed to remember all who served.

We in Canada call "Veteran's Day" Remembrance Day - which I personally like better because not only those that served need be remembered on this day but all others who's lives were lost

May we never forget what was done.. I Remember..
