Damn, woke up this morning with a nasty RA flare, and a joint in my foot bright red and super-painful. Unusual, but a classic look. Could have done without it though...

Causando dolor, hinchazón y rigidez. Este tipo de artritis hace que el sistema inmunitario ataque a los tejidos de su propio cuerpo.
Durante todos estos años las veces que lo he mencionado son en formularios o entrevistas donde me hacen la famosa pregunta ; De que condiciones padeces?! El recibir un diagnostico de enfermedad es algo para no adueñarse de el. Muchos comienzan "Yo Soy _____"(enfermedad), "Yo tengo". Sigue tu tratamiento pero no te apropies de algo que no es bueno para Ti. Este sentido de pertenencia esclaviza tu mente y cuerpo. El enemigo usa la enfermedad para manipularte, debilitarte , desenfocarte y paralizar tu seguir hacia el proposito que ya Dios determino para Ti. Y si no sanas, recuerda que hay cosas que Dios hace que no tienen sentido para nuestra humanidad; pero...

When I saw my Rheumatoligist we discussed the pain I'm still in even though the meds are working quite well. And he pointed out how much damage it has ALREADY done. He then explicitly noted all the characteristics of it evident in my hands. The bending of the tips and curving of the fingers.... Lol it may be why my mood has plummeted.

Ah Nuts! Hobbes woke me by trying to climb over some books knocking them onto my knees/legs. Pain's so bad I can barely stand.... Took me several minutes to go out to kitchen. Nothing like RA to make ya feel emasculated and old. Interestingly though. It has made me more secure in other ways because of what it limits. It has certainly made me calmer more contained and patient. Oh and before anyone asks I don't talk about the RA for sympathy. (there's support groups) but cos most have no idea what it's like to live with a chronic condition.

Not fun, but will be feeling better soon
