I want to be spiritually fit.

As a Christian, my faith tests every ounce of my being. I am trying to be a better servant to my spiritual fiber.

My strength is not in pursuing what I want but in learning to not want what I pursue. In time it will reveal itself to me. When I start wanting, building needs and desires I become a slave to them. I stop being free to wonder, uncover and discover. I stop learning because I already "know" what I want, therefore, not open to learn something new...

To me, an experience, a desire, a dream, a goal, whatever you may call it, is like a paper boat, you have to put it in the water to fulfill its purpose but it will float where ever it wants to. You can guide it, but at some point it will float far beyond your reach and float wherever it wants to. Or, you can keep it so close to your grasp that it will never reach the lengths it was destined to....

So you can send your dreams and goals out to the world but you have to be prepared to see wh...

My spirituality stems from a longggggg line of ancestry. It carries on in my family and is influenced by them too.

My gosh, is my spiruality being tested right now. Don't even want to think about it. Just going to vent. A mother of two beautiful kids, one around 13 the other not even 3 yet. MY friend. She isn't even 27 yet. Not even 30 and this one of the several people who I've already lost who is loosing her battle with Cancer. >__< Haven't there been enough people taken away from me? Not to mention those kids who are the only reason she is still fighting. *sigh* Hope my spirituality is enough to help me get over the anger I have over this and also enough to send her nothing but positive vibes.

Oh man, a lot on my mind when it comes to my spirituality right now.

My medium said it best..religion is for those who fear of hell..spirituality is for those who have been there..

So many things happen in life, I wonder sometimes how ones spirituality doesn't help pull them through.
