He hosts Fox Sports Radio's Steve Czaban Show from the studios of WTEM in Washington, D.C., co-hosts The Sports Reporters on WTEM and does a daily sports segment for Bob and Brian, a syndicated Wisconsin-area morning show.
He hosted GameTime with Steve Czaban on Fox Sports Radio from 2002-2005 and was formerly a guest host on The Jim Rome Show. As Czaban frequently jokes, he grew up "on the mean streets of McLean, Virginia", where he attended Langley High School and Cooper Middle School. His father was a computer-systems analyst for the U.S. Department of Agriculture, and his mother taught elementary school. He received a BS in Communications and Political Science in 1990 from University of California Santa Barbara.
While at UCSB he was the radio announce for the Gauchos basketball and football team. Czaban's producer, Steve Solomon, calls him every morning at 4:30AM to make sure that he is awake because "alarm clocks can't be trusted." Solomon is also know as Solly and Lo-Def (for his outright refusal to upgrade to Hi-Def); he hates both nicknames.
