Sure, 60 Minutes! Sugar can be a toxin just like any other substance good or bad not consumed in moderation. It can be an addiction if a person is genetically inclined to be addicted. As for me, thank Goodness I don't possess the "addicted to 60 Minutes" gene nor the sugar addiction gene... And I'm smart enough not to consume sugar to toxic levels. But thank you for your concern though. It is NOT a national health crisis - it's a national crisis in lack of personal responsibility and lack of self control, moderation and lifestyle balance.

Know what and how much of something (e.g. #sugar ) is in the food you are purchasing. Be aware of exactly what you're feeding your families. Don't trust company names, & the pictures on packages. READ before you FEED.
