My tiny (<6lbs) who doesn't really like anyone has started sleeping on my bed and for the first time (in the 3 yrs I've had her) purred yesterday when I was scratching her ears...shocking!!

Our orange tabby is mewing and likely angling to get outside (someone has to escort him when he does). He's going into a cat fit now, I do believe. ;)

Bettina On of my cats figured out how to open the screen door out to my deck. It's the cutest thing to watch but he's an indoor cat. I do let him sit on my lap outside on nice days though. He sits still for about 20 minutes before he tries to escape lol

Alvin is laying in my bed with me and he just pulled my hand towards him so he can rest his head in my palm. I freaking love this cat. I'm gonna miss him when he's gone :(

I love watching my 20lb 9 year old cat running and playing with his toys. It lets me know he's still got some spunk left in him.

Bettina He's officially a senior though :( He has trouble going up the stairs and jumping on the table now (which I don't mind the latter lol)

Jane Buitron Bettina, he's overweight and it's not healthy for animals or humans! Keep him running and exercising and watch his weight. Fat cats may be "cute" to some people but it's not good for them. -
Bettina @jane_buitron I try to exercise him as best I can. Catnip on string toys work best for him and me because I can't really run around with him because of my back.

Every night when I come downstairs to read, Alvin strolls in the room and hangs out with me. He's too cute. It sucks that he's getting old.
