It sucks when it doesn't work well. But hey, getting a new computer at work thanks to sucky technology! New shiny thing, yay! (Until it starts to suck, hopefully long after I move on from the job.)

Fleisch I used to be so anti-Luddite, but I'm becoming one. I love gadgets, but I don't love the replacement of craftmanship and quality with the cheapest possible mass production and the complete destruction of the US manufacturing base. The Luddites didn't really hate technology as such, they hated the fact that it was taking away their livelihoods. Our textile and shoe industries are dead, and the shoes and clothes from China are crap.
