Kel It must be the way he "does" publicity. Cause controversy to get people talking about his films. Wouldn't you rather people love you for your films rather than hate you though?! I don't get it. It's all about money for him though so I guess he doesn't care about his dignity when it comes to money.

Francisco Llanas Jr I was going to say, they already have a series with Extraterrestrial creatures along the same lines. . .it's called "Biker mice from Mars" but I think Mars is now going to be taboo for a while after the John Carter flop. (so far almost every movie made about mars is a flop!) -
ERICK @Dragyn76 Irgh, that would be awful, but yep, it would make total sense to add Bebop and Rocksteady if they all are from planet anthropomorphic. In any way, I can't understand why they think this is a decent idea, and I'm disappointed with Nickelodeon for letting them do this, cause IDW's comic run is awesome(and could be an awesome script right there) and the new animated show looks very promising, they should do something in the same line, not some totally crazy shit that will not appeal to the fans. But like Transformers, I think he wants to make a hit with casual fans while showing the middle finger to hardcore fans.

ERICK @MrPapaya Yes, as Fidel said, the ooze was from Utrom origin, both in the original comics and new IDW series, where Utrom General Krang and Baxter Stockman are responsible for the mutated turtles.

ERICK @Dragyn76 I wouldn't actually get that upset if they wanted to make the Turtles more mature and drop the Teenage title, as an evolution of the franchise if it followed the same continuity from the comics or previous movies. But making them aliens AND now this? Totally uncool.

Panda of Awesomeness @ERIC_Cavalier Yourself and The Avenging Fidel J. are both correct and that some evolution of them would be OK but not a total overhaul. I am crossing my fingers and praying that Michael Bay is just toying with everybody and trying to mislead us all otherwise we are not going to like his final vision of the the Turtles whatever that might entail.
