I love this guy. Ever hear the story of how he forged his own magical sword after he was knighted? And he writes great books, too? I love this guy.
-
Ryan Sinclair Please tell me how exactly did Sir Pratchett forge his magical blade? -

8ballcat yeah) and I was so exited when I read to that fairy world, do you remember it? It was quite like Discworld as we know it now. With all this little fairy details)) that time, I think, it was just a tiny idea, run through his mind, just interesting enough to make it a part of his story. But this where we can see, how the Story was begun)
Snuff is the 50th - I hardly can believe! Tell me, what's it about? It seems to be long time before I can get a chance to read it! -
WonderFeline Snuff is quite good. It's about Sam Vimes of the City Watch, but he has been in several books, so in this one he is married, and he and his wife are in the country, where he finds injustice. =} -
8ballcat Sounds good)) Sam Vimes is the man who can find injustice anywhere)

Is my husband the only one who prefers - no, insists!- on the british covers? They really are cooler, but much pricier.
-
WonderFeline I have to have the first editions of both the British and American editions. Do you have the 2012 Wall Calendar? =} its pictures are by Paul Kidby. -
Karen Eden @rebecca_allbritton that's cool! No, we don't have it this year. My husband is the fan, and he doesn't have an office or cube he works in, so no place to put it.
