TVP is almost dehydrated. Tofu is in mold. Will freeze tofu and later make vegan beef with it.

Poured Nigari into soymilk. Now waiting for it to clump then I will mold in repurposed butter tubs weighted by a butter tub filled with water. Then freeze for vegan beef making.

Dehydrating homemade frozen tofu for TVP. Making soymilk to make more tofu. Tofu will be made into vegan beef.

Need to soak soybeans to make tofu. Will take tofu in freezer out to thaw to make TVP tomorrow.

A distinctive taste; tastes like nothing. You can manipulate it to taste however u want.

Mabo Tofu is our favourite, easy peasy, when you are feeling lazy. I LOVE Agedashi Tofu, and am very brutal in rating chefs when it comes to this dish

For lunch, I marinated xtra firm tofu in sake, soy, sesame oil, brown sugar, ginger, garlic, mirin, scallion. Sautéed it and ate over very good rice. Happy.

Recently made quiche with pressed tofu, substituting ricotta cheese (which was more of a $$$ reason than a health one, since ricotta costs an arm and a leg here)

No cooking required at all sidedish (For smooth block tofu):
1 T sesame oil. 1 T soy sauce. Enjoyed chilled
