Trying to make room in the DVR and saving some programs that I want to hang on to to DVD. Since it has to be done in real time, the only chance I get is when everyone is out and the TV and DVD recorder are free. Starting with the longest shows and movies first to free up space as quickly as possible.

Weird this year; "never on a Sunday" making happen on the 2nd and the gayest, Glee-infected opening I've ever seen for this New Year tradition.

Here in SoCal this is broadcast live at 6 am (!), then re-run all day (with commercials) on our local KTLA (which has a free app with parade video, BTW.)
