I enjoyed the first volume from the university library. Today I borrowed volumes 2 and 3! Excited.

A lot of folks whose opinions I respect like Warren Ellis and have recommended Transmetropolitan. I'm non-committal so far - I feel like there are a lot of clever ideas and maybe too much pop-culture anger - but I forge on.

This was an epic run of debauchery and filled with wit and opened my eyes up to the rest of mature comics. I loved it!!! I keep thinking about rereading the series.

Fascinating how much the art has changed from the first few issues. It's still good just...different. #comics #Transmetropolitan

Reading "Dirge" in single issues was far less satisfying than reading it all at once. #comics #Transmetropolitan

Never realized how important the colour was to this series until this read-through. Amazing. #comics #Transmetropolitan

I love how there will be one mostly-humorous story to make you forget that things can get BRUTAL at any moment.

Issues 25 and 26 blew my mind when read them the first time. And just now, for the tenth. #comics

And the second half of "Lust for Life" shows you that this book can get bloody and brutal. #comics
