Watched a great documentary on it tonight on h2 i really enjoyed it explained alot i didnt know and i felt a connection knowing my dad was over there doing 66 -71 he did two tours over there im soo proud of his military career i wish he could have been there watching it with me and so i could ask some questions ... RIP Daddy !!!!!!

The world's Oldest Teenager died today. He will be missed, so will my Mother who also passed away this morning. They will be rocking in Heaven tonight.

I spent over a year in that vacation land, serving with the USAF, saw so many men and women die before their time. I saw a 15 year old die in front of my eyes, and the rifle he was carrying didn't even have a round in the chamber.

As I started to say, How can I like something that took sooooooo many lives of our young men and ladies. No I didn't like it at all.

Today in 1973, the last US combat troops, withdrew from Vietnam at the end of a contentious 8-year war.

Of course i don't "like" the war, but then this war proved that the people united can never be defeated! Visiting Vietnam soon!
