Boxcar Willie @CosmicPsyche I loved his older original work (bettlejuice, Edward scissorhands, nightmare before Christmas) but think all his unoriginal remakes have ruined him (Willie wonks, planet of the apes, corpse bride was rehash of nightmare, Sweeney Todd opera adaptation. He needs to do something small & beautiful & original again like big fish & get his chops back. Another bloated over-stylized remake with Johnny Depp seems lame. Just my opinion. Not trying to be disagreeable or give you a hard time. -
Anthony Sinclaire Oh that's alright Boxcar Willie. I however, am a big fan of Tim Burton. I love his talent and his style. I still look up to the Gene Wilder Willy Wonker but I really did like Burton's Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. I didn't however care at all for his Planet of the Apes nor The Corpse Bride. But his Alice in Wonderland was killer and I really enjoyed it. I think Dark Shadows will be just as good.
