GuruThe Batch of 12 stories called the Adventures of Sherlock Holmes ran from July 1891 to June 1892.

GuruVery difficult to watch in order on Netflix instant with feature lengths separately listed: Sign of Four, Hound, Master Blackmailer, Vampyre, Bachelor, Dying Detective
-
Angela Fazio Brett was really ill by then....with his heart problems and manic depression:( -
Kevin "Cousin Barnabas" Loria Yeah, the last few bring me down a bit, he's still amazing to watch, even in those -
Angela Fazio Actually I am reading Bending the Willow right now....kinda hard in parts because of when he had his breakdown from losing his wife to cancer. Very touching and sad to see how vulnerable Brett was. Between the ruthless shooting schedule, the amount of lines per script, his heart problems/ smoking, bipolar/manic depression and wife's death were a recipe for disaster. Just hope that Cumberbatch realizes that he needs to stop smoking and not burn the candle at both ends. He looked tired at the BAFTAS. Also, I think him not getting a BAFTA has to do also with Jeremy. They are never recognized in their own time.

FanWatching the Final Problem again. I just love watching Watson interpretation of Holmes’s methods(or WWHD-What would Holmes Do) by the Reichenbach Falls: "Yell really loud".
-
Kevin "Cousin Barnabas" Loria We get both Watson take on the scene, season 3 opening with Hardwicke redoing Burke's scene -
Kevin "Cousin Barnabas" Loria I'm wrong, just rewatched, it is actually footage of Burke from Holmes perspective as he gives his account to Hardwicke -
Angela Fazio Yeah....it was Burke/Watson on the hill by the Falls and doing the closing soliloquy. Hardwicke was in the Empty House and shows Holmes the letter that Burke finds by the Falls. Hardwicke/Watson says it is his prized possession. They both played Watson very well....though I am more partial to Burke because they show a real sense of boyish charm and friendship. Like two imps, best friends...think and thin.
