My daughter is watching this cartoon this morning before we head out to door. As I sit and watch it with her I'm stunned by how often a situation arises that is not properly dealt with. It's like they condone the actions of DW, the unruly twins with grandma and a few other ppl. Is that really teaching the kids anything? Oh it's ok because u said I'm sorry! Way back when, some cartoons actually did give action and consequence emphasizing why something was wrong or inappropriate. Today however, or in the case of the 90's cartoon Arthur so many things are excused away like nothing. Glad to see the backwards progress.
