              Saya's sworn protector and Chevalier, Haji's origins are revealed in the series, and it is as human as it comes. Besides his innate superhuman abilities, Haji's precision is manifested in his skills that include hurling daggers, and playing the cello.

              Note 1: His cello case is also a weapon. Looking more like a casket, the case is specially toughened and can be used as a melee weapon, and can be hurled by Haji as well over long distances. More importantly, the case houses Saya's only weapon: her modified katana.

              Note 2: Throughout the series. Haji' repeatedly plays Bach's "Cello Suite No. 5 in C minor." It masterfully reflects Haji's focus: protecting Saya forever.
