Yes, the Drashigs are puppets. But I admit: sometimes I like puppets! What of it?

Love the multiple layers in this story: the world of the Inter Minor, the Miniscope itself, & the cruise ship inside it.

Nice monster puppet! Better than some. FX seem better on this one than others from that time.

Robert Holmes' rescues this rather cheap looking production with a brilliant script. Full of fantastic concepts and his first real "double act", as well as great monsters, motivated only by hunger. It manages to satirize bureaucracy, entertainment culture, and colonial attitudes in the same story without ever seeming preachy. Great location filming. Tacky alien sets. Michael Wisher in his pre-Davros days. Great fun.
