Finally seeing the NBC version of the Triathlon

K it isn't ford it is Kona...LOVE IT! So on my bucket list. Going to grab my fissures for the end! :)

the pro's do the 2.4 mile swim in ~4 minutes - it takes me 45 to do 800 meters in the sprint tri's that I do, sigh

3 people from my Trizones training group did this (different subgroups in different parts of town). Also, the end of the women's race was just amazing.

Kailua-Kona, Hawaii = Swimming 2.4 Miles , Biking 112 miles, then running a 26.2 Marathon! Really Something Amazing to Watch!!

I am a blubbering mess watching this!! Tears of joy and excitement! Maybe someday I will run this!?
