Everybody talked about this series but I am so reluctant to watch it as it was cancelled long before I even knew about it. But it seems it's worth a chance.

I was super reluctant to start watching Kings because I knew that 1) it had been cancelled, and 2) I wasn't sure how the biblical themes would be tackled. I'm not religious, so I wouldn't have been comfortable if the writing had been self-righteous -- thankfully, it was not that at all. Sebastian Stan stole the show as Prince Jack; it's seriously some of the best acting I've ever seen, and I didn't used to care much for the guy. Now, I can't get enough: he's totally awesome! Ridiculously talented. Ian McShane, was, of course, equally fantastic, but that's to be expected. You can instantly tell quite a few of the actors have theater backgrounds. So, yeah, count me as part of the ranks who wish this had gone on for at least one more season, mostly because of the beautiful performances. The only other place I've seen work so consistently awesome? Mad Men.

This series was ment to be good ..eventualy

This had enough material for years of great season, so of course it's cancelled - isn't that how it goes these days

Such an impressive cast and what seems like a decent budget, I expected more.

Ep 2 is terribly politically correct. Kind of sad they had to do that really.

Ep2, Ian McShane is good but it just doesn't pull me in. I'll give it more time as it wasn't bad.

wow, i forgot all about this show. caught a few episodes when it aired on tv. checked out the series today from the library. hope it's as good as i remember it...

Why did they scrap this ! Can't understand at all.
