                Sam I'm with 'ya on the chemistry between Bob & Mary Frann on the Newhart show. Suzanne Pleshette has been a favorite actress of mine for a long time.

                Pam Sullivan Richards I loved Suzanne Pleshette, but I always thought she was so stiff on the Bob Newhart show, I liked the way Mary Frann came across much better on this show-more natural

                Carol Dukes I thought the show of affection was always better w/Suanne. Something about Mary just didn't seem right to me. She just seemed to be there. Maybe I just liked the first one so much nothing can compare.

              I was such a fan of this show. I remember watching it & being in college the last year it was on & I missed the series finale, but thanks to the Internet I have since seen it & have to say in my humble opinion, it was one of the best ever series finales. RIP Suzanne & Tom.
