It is based on Ken Folliet's book by the same name. <3 Pillars of the Earth and The Tudors and Game of Thrones... Check 'em out if you haven't. ...But as they said on Reading Rainbow when I was a kid... "You don't have to take my word for it." ;D XD

I enjoyed this show when it premiered on Starz. It's airing on Ovation tonight. I also bought the book but yet to have ever read it.

Pillars of the Earth begins tonight on Ovation at 5pm. Episode 1-3 tonight, Episodes 4-6 on April 3 and Episodes 7-9 on April 10. Awesome show.
