I loved this show, so much.. Why won't they make more seasons of it??? It was just perfect imitation of Rome at that time.

half way through the second season. happy to see how it end but at the same time i wish i didnt have to end

Getting on hard times for quality viewing, at least until my favorite shows kick back in (e.g., Game of Thrones, Mad Men, Breaking Bad). I may actually watch this again to see how it holds up.

Janice I loved it. Kevin McKidd and Cirean Hinds have done well, I don't see ray Stevenson as much tho. -
King Sun (Mike) @zenofmac I didn't know that's why it was taken off the air but it makes the most sense. I guess period pieces that are very lavish can be expensive to make.

Louis Packer Yup... felt the same way. I like the idea of keeping a series run limited, as with many of the good cable shows, but this one ended much too soon. I believe I read something about budget issues.

Part of my vacation has been re-watching Rome. This is such a great show. Sex & violence. Sure. But it is the political-social plotting that hooks me.
