But when a car goes off a cliff,he "saves" Clark Kent? HUH? Next few minutes and we have TWO Supermans in the air talking then fighting each other? The world watches. What's up???

Episode 18 - Speed Demons. Without a full description, it's fun to see Superman with fellow DC superhero guest star ... the Flash. :)

Superman frees a Kryptonian who eventually gains powers & not only fights Supes, but brings another Kryptonian out of the zone. Together they trap Superman in the zone then set out to take control of Earth. How can this all get turned around? :)

We see that Superman is underneath an ambulance, literally flying it (and the man) thru the air. It was an iconic bit of animation. Liked it.

Courtesy of Netflix, have first disc of volume one of this 1996-1997 animated series. The first episode is in three parts, all part of the story arc called "The Last Son Of Krypton". Episode 1 is Part 1. Nice background origin part of the story. Centers on Jor-El and Brainiac - each newly aware that Krypton is on the edge of destruction. Brainiac is downloading all the Kryptonian history & knowledge rather than telling anyone or having to "help". Jor-El tries to get Kryptonians to evacuate to the Shadow Zone, but no one is listening. He and his wife create space ship and send their son Kal-El into space. Planet explodes moments later. Brainiac escapes unharmed.

While channel surfing, bumped into this.

John Corbin aka Metalo , looks were inspired by actor James Coburn. Coburn's mannerisms were also used in the series.

Clark, we don't want people thinking you're like that Nut job in Gotham City.

I haven't watched these in quite sometime. Poor Jor-El, no one believes him.

Last episode of S:1. Episode before this one we were introduced to Darkseid

S01E11 Absolutely loving it. Not as much as Batman obviously but damn close.

On the Fridays that Logan is with his dad Jack and I watch this. We are in s:1. Lobo has just arrived on earth.

In the mood for Aquaman so I watched Fish Story. Not a particularly strong episode.
