Fans like me were waiting hopefully for this tremendously impressive actress to get another regular role where she'd have the much-deserved opportunity to captivate viewers with every bit of the talent she displayed so skillfully in her commanding performances as "Janet," a woman grappling with the timeless thorny issues of fidelity, suspicion and life in an age of changing sexual mores. Mariam Shor guiding her character so precisely, so realistically and, most importantly, so sympathetically that even though #CBS (short-sightedly as usual) canceled #Swingtown after a painfully brief 13 episodes-her character's story arc alone makes it one of my all-time favorite shows, Mariam Shor one of my all-time favorite actresses, and leaves me with great expectations for what she will accomplish on "GCB."
