The west Memphis Three. This is the saddest story I've ever seen. And I think it's tragic that they had to make that stupid deal to be freed! Shame on you Arkansas!

I can only imagine how enraged I'd feel if I were in her parents' shoes - being under a cloud of suspicion while police fail to investigate other possible suspects, wasting time, making crucial mistakes. The entire situation would be so horrific. To lose a child is bad enough. To lose one to violence is worse. But to have all that occurred in this case happen seems to be the worst-case scenario for a parent. Just a tragedy all around.
