Great doc series interweaves film footage & interviews w/ astronauts & those at mission control who lived thru the planning & execution of man's greatest adventure: The first time human beings ever stepped away from their home planet. Adding this to my list of favorite movies & docs on the subject--which of course includes, 'The Right Stuff,' & 'From the Earth to the Moon'...

Great documentary if you are interested in the early NASA missions. It's a great reminder of what Americans can do when set our minds on a goal.

Every one of these I watch leaves me speechless and in awe of NASA's scientific accomplishments.

Episode 5: The Shuttle. Columbia was lost on my 18th birthday, and I attended three of the last four launches. I got to see 134 and 135 from the Causeway.

This should be required watching 4 anyone making decisions about NASA's future

yes I am a space nerd....

An absolute must-see, especially for any child born after the Apollo missions and Star Wars. For us, space travel was a given. This series hammers home the reality that it was anything but.
