I loved Bound in Blood. When I heard that The Cartel was to set itself in the modern era, I was a little apprehensive, but I trusted Techland, based on their previous efforts. Having just finished it, I have to say I'm more than a little disappointed. With a formidable storyline, some innovative co-op features and a solid, fresh multiplayer with a variety of gametypes, combined with Techland's experience in the use of their own engine, it shouldn't have any trouble keeping up with the big guns. But Techland have failed admirably. Packed with bugs, visual glitches, poor weapon mechanics, repetitive dialogue and vehicle chase scenes that feel about as daring as a bran muffin, I can't give this game more than a 5 out of 10, even though I wish I could.

Let's see if it lives up to its predecessors. I'm thinking it probably won't.
