FanI can definitely see how Jade Empire was used as the template for future Bioware games like Mass Effect and Dragon Age. Thank god the dialogue improved in ME and DA, though.

Courtney Jade Empire was incredibly dry. At least DA and ME had characterization and threads of humor.

I'm calling it right now; Master Li is somehow an evil bastard and Dawn Star is the rightful heir to the Jade Empire. SHHH NO REAL SPOILERS I'M JUST THROWING MY CONCLUSIONS OUT THERE.

ethereality I will admit the combat is pretty good. Actually, I would kind of love it if BioWare made a sequel or at least a spiritual successor. I loved the setting/environments, and BioWare's come a long way since then. I think a second game with new characters would be pretty friggin amazing, honestly. -

ethereality What does BioWare make that we don't play the crap out of? :P I actually kind of have the urge to play Origins again. But mostly because I want to have another character to roll over to a new DA2 game. Because I just realized I love DA2's party members way more than I thought I did.
