Finally finished it, and I loved every second of it. Definitely worth the ten dollars I spent on it 6 months ago.

Think I'm about to finally wrap this up. Story just hit an epic point. Still trying to figure out why this game gets so much hate.

Got authorization to use the Wave Beam. Still trying to find something to hate about this game. No luck yet.

I just beat the main story, & it wasn't terrible. I kind of like it. Not bad for $7.

Picked it up for $5 new at Best Buy today and so far it's a pretty fun game. Definitely different from the Metroid Prime Trilogy but also a lot more story-based which I like and the cinematics are beautiful. It also manages to blend first-person and third-person gameplay rather seamlessly. I'd say it's probably worth the five bucks.

Really digging the story so far. But, I've noticed how they're really beating you over the head with the "maternity" theme. Samus' constant references to "the baby", the "Baby's Cry" distress signal... and the Bottle Ship...? Wow. Not to mention every other sci-fi trope ever introduced. And you can definitely tell Team Ninja was behind this game. So many Ninja Gaiden similarities here...it's almost absurd. Doesn't stop me from enjoying every second, though.

There are parts of this game that are a flat out bitch to get past.

The only downfall to a replay is I know all the plot points including the twist.

Even though I'm replaying this b/c I lost my save file it's still good the second time around.
