I'm so undecided on this game and I'm playing it again to try and make my mind up. The concept is a good idea and plays well, however it is nothing like a Silent Hill game whatsoever to me. It doesn't have the constant feel of unsettle and paranoia Silent Hill does. Shattered Memories does have its own unpleasant moments and scares, and the story is actually alright, but I could appreciate it a lot more if it didn't have Silent Hill in the title and the names of characters/locations. I feel that it is only there to try and make more money. I'd have a lot more respect for both the developers and the game if it wasn't there and they'd made original characters/locations.

Playing the PSP version. It's not really a Survival Horror game, it's more like a "Tottally Disturbing Main Character Game"
