Amazing game. This was one of the first video games I ever played. I remember sitting on my living room floor when I was in 1st or 2nd grade playing Tetris for hours. The Russian theme music is addictive, too.

This game has been found, when played in courses within 6 hours of witnessing a traumatic event, to drastically reduce symptoms of PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder). Soldiers in Iraq have been studied, playing after battles, and the repetitive structure of the game has the effect of weakening and sometimes even writing over painful memories.

oh man I will never forget when tetris came out for gameboy. I of course did not have a gameboy i used to borrow my cousin's. My cousin still has the original game I keep telling him I am going to steal it for my gameboy advance (I keep that to play the old gameboy games since the ds does not play those)
