Put almost 9 hours into this game and haven't even beaten the first chapter. Damn sidequests.

Finished The game last night. I was a decent open-world RPG that, while not as engrossing and full as an Elder Scrolls game, was enjoyable nonetheless. I give it a 4 out of 5 stars.

After 10 hours of play, I finally took a beak from side-questing to end chapter one and unlock the next part of the world map. I have to say, while can see where fans of other sandbox games might be disappointed, Ivan honestly sy that this game is closer to what I wanted DragonAge to be. While Cassandra is an awfully rendered and acted primary character, the others stand well on their own, and the borderline psychotic dialogue of the hero when he's out and about make this a pretty fun romp. I guess I don't see where all of the bad press is coming from on this game...I've played better for sure, but it's not the scrappy pile of dung some critics make it out to be.

This game is so friggin massive...

If you like the open world style of fantasy RPGs, I recommend giving this one a try. While it pales in comparison to Skyrim, it does a lot of things well and gives you an absolutely huge and unique world to explore. Combat reminds me of Dark Souls, and the assassin elements are right out of the Assassin's Creed games. Plus, most places are carrying pre-owned copies for as little as $17, including Steam for the PC. While it won't replace the Nordic wonder of Bethesda's game of the year, it's varied environments, such as a tropical island, African Savannas and Indian deserts make it a lot of fun to explore. I give it an 8 out of 10.

so i've apparently managed to purchase this game from Gamestation in my town even though retailers do no have it due to a shipping issue± If you wikipedia the game it tells you something happened with the shipping and that game retailers dont want this game yet and its not meant to be in stores till later this year... I checked my copy and its a german copy apparently but somehow found its way into my local Gamestation. There was only 2 copies and me and my friend bought it. Another of my friends went intothe store to pick up a copy and the person working said they had 'accidently' sold their only 2 copies of the game! RESULT.

The voice work atrocious, the audio mix is all over the place...yet I'm enjoying it. talk about an unpolished gem.
