The GetGlue Platform Index scores every platform from 0 to 10 on five factors. The overall score is the weighted average, rounded to one decimal.

Data location, collection and what users must disclose.
Search, filters and recommendation quality.
Active profiles, audience or library size.
Creator share, pricing, payout terms and free tiers.
What we look at
- Each platform's features, published terms, pricing and policies.
- Public feedback from users, clients and creators on review sites and in the press.
- Independent reporting on legal issues, ownership and availability.
How often we update
Rankings are reviewed every quarter and whenever a platform makes a major change. Every page shows the date it was last updated, and facts link to their sources.
Partners and sponsorship
Rankings are not for sale. Where we have a partner relationship with a platform, its links are marked as sponsored and labelled “Partner”. Sponsored placements, such as upcoming creator spotlights, are always labelled.
